Woman reports identity theft for healthcare

In the latest twist in identity theft, a Rochester woman has reported someone else has used her identity to receive healthcare.


The 28-year-old said she’s received statements from Mayo Clinic, billing her for services she didn’t receive. The woman said there have been nine visits since July 2012 in which the patient apparently used her name and birthdate to check in.
