Two charged after alleged Lisle area vehicle break-ins, identity theft

NAPERVILLE –Two men were charged Thursday after allegedly breaking into several vehicles over the course of two days in a Lisle area subdivision, according to a news release from the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office.

Thomas J. Gallagher, 20, is charged with one class three felony count of identity theft and Gino Alomri, 21, is charged with two class A misdemeanor counts of theft, the release said.

The sheriff’s office received six reports of motor vehicle burglary between March 30 and 31 from the Steeple Run subdivision, located in unincorporated DuPage County between Lisle and Naperville, according to the release.

During one of the alleged burglaries, a credit card was reportedly taken and used, leading sheriff’s detectives to the suspects, the release said.
