Trio accused of identity theft at Pasadena hotel – The Pasadena Star

PASADENA Police on Monday arrested two men and a woman for allegedly using a fraudulent credit card at a local hotel.

Officers also recovered several credit cards, according to Pasadena police Lt. Tracey Ibarra.

She said staff at Hilton Pasadena called police shortly after midnight to report that someone rented a room using a fraudulent credit card.

Ibarra said officers arrested one man at the hotel located at 168 S. Los Robles Ave. around 2 a.m. A second man ran from police

Officers found the second suspect when they went back to the hotel around 11 a.m., Ibarra said. He was accompanied by a woman.

Arrested on suspicion of identity theft were Scott Vitug, 29, of Los Angeles, Joshua Usrey, 31, from Fresno and Geraldin Tecson, 36 of Pomona.

The two men are being held at Pasadena jail while Tecson is at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood.
