Stolen Social Security Numbers Allegedly Used for Identity Theft in Sandwich, Plano

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office says they are investigating two reports of Identity Theft.

The sheriff’s office says complainants reported that their social security numbers were stolen in both cases.

In the first case reported from the 12000 block of River Rd. in Plano, a man told authorities his social security numbers was utilized to open a credit card without authorization.

In the second incident from the 20 block of Sandra Ct. in Sandwich, a man told the sheriff’s office that his social security number was utilized to open a telephone account.

Both incidents are believed to have occurred on August 1st and both were reported on Friday.

The sheriff’s office says no suspects have been identified in either case.
