People were already in line at the Summit Credit Union on Rimrock Road 40 minutes prior the the event beginning. Organizers estimate they saw around 500 people during the three-hour event and those folks brought enough paper to fill up two garbage trucks.

The event in Madison was one of three around the state, with similar events held in Appleton and West Allis. They’re also part of a larger, national shredding event hosted by BBB offices throughout the United States.
