Putnam blotter: Car borrowed, crashed; ID theft; more

Police in Putnam County released information on several recent arrests.

CARMEL

Police headquarters: Jessica Peterson, 29, of Somers was charged March 29 with first-degree identity theft and third-degree grand larceny, felonies, after an investigation by Carmel police showed that she stole debit-card information from a Mahopac resident. Peterson then used the information to make unauthorized cash withdrawls from and purchases on the victim’s account.

PHILIPSTOWN

Lane Gate Road: Arthur W. Head, 33, of 3485 Route 9, Cold Spring, took a friend’s car without permission on April 1 then did not return it — because he demolished it in an accident — police said. The car was recovered at a local repair shop. Head was charged April 4 with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor. He is due in Town Court on May 5.

Route 9: Lauren P. Dykstra, 27, of Ossining was charged with obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, misdemeanors, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, Thursday. A Putnam deputy who stopped her for a traffic violation noticed a strong marijuana odor coming from the car and determined Dykstra had a small amount of pot, police said. When the deputy told her she was being arrested, Dykstra became physically combative, police said. She is due in Town Court May 19.

Sprout Brook Road: Victor J. Tonndorf, 64, of Cortlandt was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, misdemeanors, April 14. Tonndorf was driving with a suspended license and had a passenger in his car who had an order of protection against him, leading to the contempt charge.

Route 9: Luis M. Tacuri, 36, of Cold Spring was charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended registration, a misdemeanor, April 7 after a Putnam deputy using an electronic license-plate reader was alerted to the expired suspension. Tacuri was released without bail and has a May 5 court date.

Route 9: Tori M. Manfredonia, 19, of Wappingers Falls was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, April 9 after a traffic stop. Manfredonia is due in Town Court on May 7.

Route 9: German B. Tapia, 33, of Shrub Oak was charged March 29 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, after a traffic stop. He’s due back in Town Court on May 20.

PUTNAM VALLEY

Fishkill Road: Robert C. DeSantis, 35, of Putnam Valley was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanors, April 8 after a traffic stop. A Putnam deputy stopped him for a traffic violation then found drugs in the car.

Dennytown Road: Robert T. Amicucci, 29, of Carmel was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, April 9 after a Putnam deputy stopped him for a traffic violation. He was released without bail.

Argyle Avenue: Olga M. Quinde, 43, of Putnam Valley was charged with driving a vehicle with a suspended registration, a misdemeanor,April 10. She is due in Town Court on May 6.

Route 9: Felix F. Viscaino, 37, of Peekskill was charged with driving a vehicle with a suspended registration, a misdemeanor, April 7. He was released without bail.
