Naperville cops issue warrants for five ‘Felony Lane Gang’ suspects

Five suspected members of a group of “smash-and-grab” car burglars are being sought by Naperville police.

Warrants were issued Friday for the arrests of three men and two women “suspected of carrying out a number of financial and identity theft crimes, as part of a criminal organization of vehicle burglars known as the Felony Lane Gang,” a news release from Naperville police said.

The suspects have been charged with 47 felony crimes that include cashing stolen checks and participating in a bank scam in which they used “stolen driver’s licenses, debit cards, birth dates, addresses and other personal identifying documents and information,” the release said.

All of the incidents occurred in Naperville between September and October 2015.
