Man sentenced to prison for tax fraud, identity theft

A Loup City man has been sentenced to federal prison for filing false tax returns.


Rodney R. Moraczewski, 53, was sentenced to three years, fives months in federal prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release. He was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $299,206 to the Internal Revenue Service, according to a press release from the U.S. attorney’s office.
