College Students at High Risk for Identity Theft

With the fall semester now underway at local colleges, the Better Business Bureau is warning that college students are at a particularly high risk for identity theft.

The BBB says that, since information sharing via social media and the internet has become second nature to most college students, it makes them more susceptible to scams and fraud. Also, thieves reportedly target college-aged adults because they often have good credit records.
