Clifton Park man accused of identity theft with credit cards

CLIFTON PARK — A town resident was arrested Thursday after allegedly using multiple credit cards under the identification of another person, State Police said.

David Toback, 32, faces three counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument, six counts of grand larceny and seven counts of identity theft, police said.

It’s estimated the Toback charged more than $1,000 on each of the credit cards, police said.

Toback was arraigned Thursday in Town Court and is being held at the Saratoga County Jail, police said. He is scheduled to reappear in court at 2 p.m. Oct. 8.
