Church hosts session on identity theft protection

Learn how to protect yourself from identity theft, or what to do if you’re a victim, during a public awareness session from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity United Methodist Church, 17th Avenue and Main.

The event will offer a session on how to protect you and your money from identity theft, the steps to take if you’ve become a victim of identity theft, understanding phone fraud and stolen documents and how to prosecute identity theft cases.

Sessions will be presented by Central Bank and Trust, the Hutchinson Police Department and the Reno County District Attorney’s office. The event is sponsored by Central Bank and Trust, the Reno County Crime Reduction initiative coalition, and The Hutchinson News. For more information, contact Anita Stuckey at 620-694-5700 ext. 222.
