  • WARRANT — An Oakland resident was arrested on a warrant at San Pablo Avenue and Gilman Street in Berkeley.

  • FOUND PROPERTY — A red bicycle was found near Memorial Park.

  • BURGLARY — La Vie en Rose on Solano Avenue was entered around 9:40 a.m. according to the business’s alarm panel.

  • BURGLARY — A bicycle was stolen from a Kains Avenue garage the previous week.

  • HOSPITALIZATION — A Kains Avenue resident was taken to a hospital after reportedly saying she wanted to hurt herself because of job-related issues.

    TUESDAY, SEPT. 30

  • DUI — A Union City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI near the Buchanan Street-I-80 interchange.

  • IDENTITY THEFT — A Curtis Street resident made a report of identity theft and credit card fraud.

  • SUSPENDED LICENSE — An Antioch man was arrested on suspicion of driving with a suspended or revoked license.

  • VEHICLE ACCIDENT — Two vehicles, including a red Honda Civic, stopped at Buchanan and Jackson streets, apparently after colliding on the nearby freeway. One of those involved in the incident tried to run away, with another person in pursuit.

  • PETTY THEFT — A Richmond woman was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Target.

  • HOSPITALIZATION — A Cornell Avenue resident with a history of falls related to alcohol use was taken to a hospital.

  • DUI — Police arrested a driver at San Pablo Avenue and Page Street in Berkeley on suspicion of DUI.

    WEDNESDAY, OCT. 1

  • PETTY THEFT — An Albany man was arrested in connection with the theft of a bag of belongings from the men’s locker room at the Albany Pool on Portland Avenue.

  • FOUND PROPERTY — An employee at Hot Shop on San Pablo Avenue found a wallet left on a table.

  • PETTY THEFT — One person was arrested at Safeway on Solano Avenue after allegedly stealing formula and diapers while shopping with two other people.

    THURSDAY, OCT. 2

  • DISTURBANCE — A woman was arrested on Key Route Boulevard after her mother reported that she hit her.

  • HOSPITALIZATION — A person found lying outside the Albany Police Department lobby was taken to a hospital.

  • COLLISION — A silver sedan and a white panel truck collided at Buchanan and Polk streets.

  • PETTY THEFT, ARREST — A person was arrested on suspicion of petty theft and a probation violation at Target. As police responded to the incident, they arrested a second person on suspicion of petty theft and giving false information.

  • INJURY ACCIDENT — A pedestrian reported hand and arm injuries after being hit by a vehicle at Marin and Ramona avenues.

  • PUBLIC INTOXICATION — A 45-year-old transient was arrested for being drunk or under the influence of drugs in public.

  • WARRANT — A man sleeping on the front steps of a Kains Avenue apartment building was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

  • ARREST — A Berkeley woman was arrested on suspicion of destroying or concealing evidence and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

  • ARREST — A Berkeley man was arrested on suspicion of violating a protective order and driving with a suspended or revoked license.

  • PETTY THEFT — A man was arrested on suspicion of stealing $1,000 worth of merchandise from the electronics department at the Target store on Eastshore Highway.

  • ARREST — A Pittsburg woman was arrested on suspicion of breaking and entering.

  • THEFT — A Key Route Boulevard resident reported that a gun was taken from his attic.
